Welcome
Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. As you might have guessed, I’m off on another adventure. This one isn’t quite as big as the last, but nevertheless, will still be quite a challenge.
My plan is to walk the ‘Devon Coast to Coast’ path. This encompasses the Erme-Plym trail and the Two Moors Way, from Wembury on the South Devon Coast, to Lynmouth on the North Devon Coast. It will take me through both the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, plus the quaint Devon villages in between.
The official route is 117 miles, but no doubt there will be a few more ‘toing and froing’ miles added on.
I have no set plan, other than I am travelling down to Plymouth on Sunday 30th June and I need to be back at work by the 16th July.
I’ve done very little training, so I am under no illusion that this is going to be tough, despite my previous historical endeavours.
Like before, I’ll be carrying a backpack with a tent and will mostly be camping, but if the opportunity presents itself, I won’t pass up the comfort of a night in a ‘proper bed’!
So stayed tuned for updates on my progress.
